Let’s Be Real…
I’m going to go ahead and say that I’m not cultured. I mean grew up in Midland, Texas. The Permian Basin. It was hot, very hot. Dry, run from the car to the indoors before the skin starts cracking, dry. Which means there was no gardening (unless you count the 15-20 day window in the spring) or cultivation of vegetables, fruits, or even flowers for the most part. My knowledge of cooking and prepping the different types of fruits, vegetables, grains, and meats is minimal at best.
